Plum, Sheep’s Milk, Blood Orange

This started out as a cheese course, but seeing as Mache is $12.99 a pound right now, I decided to tear the plums and cheese up, drop the yuzu and go with a blood orange vinaigrette and add some chives.

The result:


Plum and Sheep’s Milk Cheese Salad

 The verdict? Definitely misses the peppery freshness of the Mache, but another step on the way to a servable dish.
